Hi! I'm doing this for my best friend Jimena who just had to go through a very difficult surgery called "desmantelamiento". It is a complicated stomach operation.
Her stomach went up to her lungs and pressed down on her aorta (the main artery of the body, supplying oxygenated blood to the circulatory system. In humans, it passes over the heart from the left ventricle and runs down in front of the backbone). So she really needed to go through this whole surgery.
Her insurance only covers 60% of the expenses. This means that her family has to face a big percentage of the cost.
Since I don't have money myself to help her, I thought that it would be a good idea to start a Go Fund Me campaign to try to help her as much as I can!
If we could reunite 2500€ together for her it would be of so much help!
Jimena is from Mexico and has had to face multiple operations from a very early age. Last year, she started college, and she is studying medicine which is her dream!

¡Hola! He decidido abrir esta donación para mi mejor amiga Jimena que justo saló de una operación de estómago muy complicada llamada desmantelamiento.
Su estómago se subió a sus pulmones y oprimió su aorta (la principal arteria del cuerpo humano, que en individuos adultos tiene 2,5 cm de diámetro. La aorta da origen a todas las arterias del sistema circulatorio excepto las arterias pulmonares, que nacen en el ventrículo derecho del corazón.) Necesitaba realmente dicha operación.
Su póliza de seguro cubre el 60% de los gastos. Eso significa que su familia tiene que afrontar un gran porcentaje del coste.
Dado que yo no tengo dinero suficiente para ayudarla, pensé que sería una buena idea empezar una campaña en Go Fund Me para intentar obtener la mayor ayuda posible!
El objetivo es reunir 2.500 € para colaborar con el gasto.
Jimena es mexicana y desde pequeña se ha sometido a varias operaciones por este problema. El año pasado empezó a estudiar medicina para cumplir su sueño de ser médico.
