Jim & Margaret Healing & Rebuilding
Donation protected
On Saturday, March 31, Jim was working on restoring his beloved 1982 Jeep CJ in his garage, and there was a fire. Thankfully, Margaret had just entered the garage and was able to save him with a fire extinguisher.
Jim is lucky to be alive, though he may not feel that way right now. He is in ICU with second degree burns on his arms, hands, neck and head. He will likely be there for two weeks or more. Margaret is unharmed.
The house was substantially damaged in the fire, nearly all of their belongings are smoke-damaged, and three vehicles were lost, including the CJ.
When terrible things happen to good people, you just want to know what you can do. In this case, we can help Jim and Margaret through this awful moment by helping them to cover their insurance deductibles, Jim’s medical bills, and begin to rebuild their lives. Please give what you can.
Thank you.
