Here are a few words from Jim's wife, Janine....
It is with a very heavy heart that I write about my Jim. He has an aggressive stage 4 brain tumor (Glioblastoma) that will shorten his life sooner than later. Jim was very tired and was taking daily naps and we thought he had the flu. After going to the ER in June 2017 because he was now having pain in his left arm, we found out the devastating news and saw the tumor on a MRI. He had a biopsy and had complications that left his left side in paralysis. He then spent weeks rehabbing to learn to walk again and use his left arm. This is when the warrior was seen, he battled hard and regained almost all of his ability to walk and sit. Now it was time for 6 weeks of chemo and radiation, he did great! Always positive and stating how he was going to beat this cancer!! He has had 6 rounds of chemo. Unfortunately, we recently found out that the tumor has continued to grow. His current treatment is an infusion of the drug Avastin and he will receive it every 3 weeks for now. His mobility has decreased quite a bit and he is in a wheelchair. This is so hard for him; he wants to go for a walk or a bike ride every day. Please think of Jim and all of the positive vibes he has sent through the phone lines over the years, he is always dynamic and full of energy. I hope he can recover just a bit of his passion for life. I do my best to care for Jim, but I'm overwhelmed because I still work full time at an elementary school attendance office to support our family and maintain our benefits. Brayden is in high school and Taylor is in college and Kaylie has a real job!! I am so grateful to you for your thoughts, prayers, and support. These funds will be used to help pay for Jim's onging medical care, getting a Hoyer lift, and providing more care for Jim here at our home. From the depths of our hearts, Thank You.

I have personally known Jim Lewis for 26 years. I first met Jim via a flyer I had passed out at a Triathlon being held at Lake Mission Viejo back in 1992. It would take me a year of courting him to get him involved in my Direct Selling opportunity. But after he joined, he quit his full time job within a week and showed up at my doorstop one morning, unannounced. I was flabbergasted that someone would quit their job and go full time so soon. But as I learned, Jim has tremendous desire and drive. I put him to work with a script, biz opp leads, and placed him on my outdoor view deck in Laguna Beach, and told him to cut his teeth. He did, and after his first 50 calls, he had sponsored 4 new people! He was talented & amazing! In short order, Jim became my #1 distributor. We had a great 7 year run there with that first company, Body Wise. Since we worked so well together, we would become business partners as distributors in our next venture, ProSTEP, which would last for 9 years. During that time, we built an organization that grew to about 40,000 members. While there, we met the most amazing and brilliant people one could ever hope for, many of whom have become our lifelong friends, which includes many of you. After ProSTEP, we had one final venture, with Xango, that we worked together for 7 years. During this time, we traveled the world, deepened our friendships, experienced great fun and adventure, and for awhile, lived the rock star lifestyle. If there is one thing I know about Jim Lewis, he is a fighter. He is the most determined, persistent, and committed man I've ever met. I owe much of my success in this industry to Jim. Without him, my life would never have turned out the way it did. He is a wonderful business partner, a great friend, and a kind, loving, caring human being. I know that all of you reading this, have been touched and blessed because of your association with Jim. I am reaching out to you today, to simply ask for your love and support. Jim can no longer work. If he's going to win the fight of his life, he needs all your love and support, right now. If you feel moved to help Jim out, this is the time he needs it the most.
