Jim Deutsch Memorial Bench

Jim Deutsch loved to be outside, whether it was sitting at a baseball game or planting trees with local kids in his hometown of Terryville. 

He loved to walk, especially with his family. Every day for the past several years Jim could be seen walking the streets of Terryville... especially at Lake Winfield, his favorite place of peace and meditation. 

Jim was an active member of his community, serving on various outdoor commissions that greatly benefited his hometown. 

Sadly, Jim lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 28th 2021. In his memory, his family is seeking donations to build a memorial bench in his honor at his  favorite Terryville place, Lake Winfield. 

In lieu of Flowers, Any additional funds raised will go towards the 2022 and 2023 Annual Arbor Day Elementary School Tree Planting Event in Terryville, an activity that Jim looked forward to passionately every year.
