Jim and Family Need a Break

This is my son Jim and Grace and Elijah. He has had some trouble in the past. I am so very proud of him because through hard work and perseverance he gained custody of his children. While working during his pursuit of custody, he was shot in the arm.  This was several years ago. Since then there have been complications (infections, etc.). He has worked hard throughout these complications. He has provided a safe home for his kids and had held a steady job. He just bought a 2006 car. Tomorrow he is scheduled for emergency surgery on the same arm in which he was shot.  An infection has entered into his bone from a screw hole in the rod in his arm. If the surgery is successful, his arm will be two inches shorter. If the surgery is not successful, he may lose his arm. He is very worried about providing for his kids while he is out of work. Family and friends have helped of course, but now he may need more help than even we can provide. Thank you.
