Jiji's Farewell Findraiser

To all of Jiji's family, friends, climbing partners, adventure comrads, and fellow dirtbags...
Jiji was involved in an accident at the Wind River range, at the Cirque of the Towers on August 2nd. She had just finished the approach to Warbonnet and was getting geared up to go send one of the most aestetic climbs in the Wind River, The Feather Buttress. In a freakish turn of events, she slipped on a rock and tumbled down the approach path, hitting her head multiple times along the way. Her climbing partner called for help and an EMT emerged from the wilderness and was able to assist her climbing partner in keeping her comfortable before the helicopter from Tip Top arrived. She was airlifted and transferred by Air Idaho Rescue to East Idaho Regional Medical Center,  where her body put up a noble fight for her survival. However, her head injuries are such that the prospects of a meaningful recovery are nonexistent. Her family has traveled from Korea as soon as they heard of her accident, and they have exhausted all options of medical care. They are left with no alternatives but to take her off life support and giving her the freedom to travel on to her next grand adventure. We are all saddened to see Jiji venture on without us. I will miss her infinitly, and I am mourning her, her strong spirit and all the good times that I will never have with her.  I am thankful our paths crossed.. she has bettered my life by being a part of it.. Jiji was a humanist, a Taoist and a believer in science,  so I will not ask for your thoughts and prayers, but for help and support to her family. On top of their last minute flights from Korea to Idaho Falls, ID, they are faced with time out of work, funeral expenses and hotels.
