Anjelica's DECA Trip
Donation protected
I am in the 10th Grade at Higley High School and Vice President of our DECA Club which teaches about finance, business and marketing. I entered the Stock Market Challenge 3 months ago. Only the top 25 out of over 1500 students earned the top honors and will be invited to the International ICDC event In Florida in April 2015. I am excited to announce I was number 16 of 25! My spot is confirmed but I must raise the travel expense for the Florida event plus another event for State.
We compete for college schollarships at this event. Since I plan on going to college to earn a science degree with a minor in business, I must earn grants and schollarships to make it possible.
A little about me, I am taking all Honors and AP classes and am duel enrolled through my high school program at Chandler Gilbert Community College. I plan on having my Associate Degree by the time I graduate high school and then on to a 4 year universary. I have a passion for education and strongly believe in community service. I am attaching a video about another project I did to help the homeless called The Silent Pain. Keeping my grades up, volunteering, and helping my Great Grandmother has taught me the value of being organized and to appreciate what careing for and about another person means. I will be the first member of our family to go to college and I have set my sights high. Thanking you in advance for any help.
