Hello friends and family!
The Jefferson High School chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (JHS FBLA) is a quickly growing student organization in Daly City, CA that fosters leadership skills, career readiness, and a strong sense of community at Jefferson High. We are getting ready to go to our first conference in about 2 weeks, the Leadership Development Institute (LDI), and are so excited!
In the past, we've had 10 students or fewer attending conferences. With the hard work of our Chapter Officers - most in the photo above - we have more than doubled our membership and conference attendance. We have 24 students going to LDI from Oct 18-20 and more attending our weekly lunchtime meetings.
As many of you know, registration and hotel fees for opportunities like this can be steep. Each student is expected to pay $65 in conference registration fees and contribute about $90 for their hotel during our weekend stay in Santa Clara.
We need your support in raising enough funds to ensure that each one of the 24 students who are interested in attending can go!
Please consider a donation of $30 to our cause. If we are able to secure 50 donors who contribute $30 each, I am positive we can reach our funding goal by October 18.
