Hi everybody!
It's difficult for me to be asking for help with this, however, I've come to the realization that I really do need the help and this could change my life.
For over 4 years I've been living with endometriosis. If you don't know what that is, I urge you to look it up and research it. I've also added some pictures about the common symptoms and treatments.
Everyday is a struggle to even get out of bed with this pain. Just to name a few things I go through on the daily: Contractions-type-feeling, severe tightness in my abdomen, my tail bone is always in pain, at least once a month a cyst will rupture which makes it almost impossible to even take a breath while it's rupturing. In the very early hours in the morning I find myself in a bath, due to the radiating pain that goes to my legs and makes it literally impossible to sleep through. It's common for me to just want to scream most of the time. These are just a handful of things I go through daily.
This effects my daily living. All the way from trying to have a decent day at work, to playing with my two kids, to having any kind of intimacy with my husband.
It also effects fertility tremendously.
What I am being offered from my doctor is a surgery that will basically remove the scar tissue and hopefully some other tissue and cysts that the endometriosis has done to my body. The problem is, and I know a lot of us are in the same boat, it costs a lot of money. This surgery will cost about $40,000. My goal is to raise at least $3,000 just to be able to get the surgery, and then pay off the rest in payments.
This surgery would change my life and the lives of my kids and husband for the better! I almost can't even imagine a world without pain. If you can donate or share, please do. Your help is sincerely appreciated. If I can get the funds, I can get my surgery as early as December 7.
