Recently Jewel was rushed to the hospital after a seizure where it was discovered that she had a brain hemorrhage.
Jewel is now out of the hospital and recovering from brain surgery and is on the mend, but it is vital she gets at least 2 weeks rest. Doctor's orders!
Jewel is self employed as a hairstylist. Unable to work during this prescribed healing period she is left without income.
