Jeta's Cancer Care

All good hearted and kind people, lets help Jeta Dervishi fight to save her life.

In 2009, Jeta Dervishi, at the time 9 years old, living in Ulcinj, Montenegro was diagnosed with brain cancer. Her parents Merita and Ceno Dervishi made every possible attempt with in their means to treat Jeta, taking her to Belgrade, Serbia to operate. Fortunately, the operation was successful and Jeta revisited her life of childhood ease and relieved the stress and sorrows of her parents and two younger sisters.

In 2013 however, Jeta whose name literally translates to "life", relapsed and the cancer returned to her brain. A second operation unfortunately proved far less successful and the complications that came about left 13 year old Jeta paralyzed from the neck down and breathing through tracheotomy. 

Now in 2018, Jeta's family has been connected with a Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Switzerland where they have a chance to mitigate her situation. However the bill for four weeks of treatment is a hefty one at $150,000, a price tag difficult for any one family to afford, let alone a family living in smaller, less wealthy nation. 

By reaching this intimidating goal, donors would be able to help Jeta travel to the center in Switzerland and cover the cost for a treatment duration of 4 weeks. We are asking for your help in raising these funds, as any amount will help; if you cannot donate we ask that you pray for a successful surgery and recovery for Jeta.
