Jesús Rodriquez Medical expenses

Two weeks ago during spring break, my former student Jesús Rodriguez suffered a series of heart attacks. Jesús has always been a very active young man. He is currently a 10th grader at Corvallis High School and has been on the soccer team as both a player and goalie. After his friends were able to resuscitate him, he was sent up to Randall's Children's Hospital where he went through many extensive tests. The reasons for his heart attacks are still unclear, but he had a pacemaker inserted to  help prevent any further attacks. 

Throughout all of this time in the hospital, his mother and sister have had to travel back and forth from Corvallis to Portland. His mom Claudia has missed a lot of work, in order to be with him, which has meant a lack of income. 

Please help this amazing family in their time of need.


Hace dos semanas, durante las vacaciones de primavera, mi ex alumno Jesús Rodríguez sufrió una serie de ataques al corazón. Jesús siempre ha sido un joven muy activo. Actualmente cursa el décimo grado en Corvallis High School y ha estado en el equipo de fútbol como jugador y portero. Después de que sus amigos lo resucitaron, lo enviaron al Hospital Infantil de Randall, donde pasó por muchas pruebas extensas. Las razones de sus ataques cardíacos todavía no están claras, pero se le insertó un marcapasos para ayudar a prevenir cualquier ataque adicional.

 

Durante todo este tiempo en el hospital, su madre y su hermana tuvieron que viajar de Corvallis a Portland. Su madre Claudia ha perdido mucho trabajo, para estar con él, lo que ha significado una falta de ingresos.
