Disastrous House Fire Destroys Everything

Hello my name is Feliciana. I am Jesurun's aunt. I am here on behalf of Bernie, Jesurun's grandmother, and the TAP Church.

Jesurun and Annette are senior pastor Hugh and our late Tabita Mark's son and daughter.

I have to first and foremost Give thanks and Praise to God our Father and Jesus Christ our Saviour for having his guardian angels watch over Jesurun and his family. I stand in awe that our heavenly Father spared each one of these precious human lives and not one - no not one, was taken by the fire. Everything was destroyed - except for their lives.

Jesurun and his family were fast asleep when a house fire started at 3am on Thursday morning. Jesurun, Kristy their children: Gregory & Isabella, along with Jesurun's sister Annette & her child Jared, were all asleep in the home when the fire happened. I don't know full details about how or where it started except for that they think it must have been an electrical fire, as they live in an older house in a remote area.

It's a true miracle they all woke up and made it out. We thank the Lord they all got out in the knick of time but only with the clothes on their backs. Everything else was destroyed in the fire and then consumed by the flames when the propane tanks exploded, as they watched their house burn to the ground.

Their personal belongings, all of their identifications & certificates, all of Jesurun's livelihood his logging gear, hunting gear, fishing equipment, all of their household possessions, phones, car keys and irreplaceable memories, were all completely destroyed. Their faithful dog also perished in the fire.

Although Jesurun and his family are very much grateful to God for sparing their lives... they are in fact, very much shaken up and in distress as this has been such a traumatic thing to have happen to them. I'm even in tears thinking about what it would have been like to actually have gone through what they went through, waking up and barely making it out. It's sad. I can't imagine what trauma and ptsd they're feeling; especially the kids.

We are here raising money for their family to get started again and get back on their feet. And grandma would also like for us to raise enough funds for each of them to seek counseling from having gone through such a catastrophic shocking event.

The money we raise will go to help Jesurun, Kristy and their family reestablish what was lost.
