Jessica/baby Evelyn Tucksen fund

Jessica Tucksen is the grades 3-8 music teacher at St. Stephen The Martyr Catholic Elementary School in Omaha, Nebraska. She has been married just over 5 years to her husband Mattia, who works in the library at Sandoz Elementary and teaches private voice, violin and viola. After struggling with infertility, two miscarriages, and an ectopic pregnancy, Jessie and Mattia were thrilled to find out they were pregnant with a beautiful baby girl , due 4/9/18! The pregnancy was going well,  but on Jan. 4th, at 26 1/2 weeks, Jessie's water broke, sending her and Mattia to the doctor for tests, and then quickly to the hospital. Jessie now remains in the hospital on bedrest at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha,  until the baby is born. Her obstetrician, Dr. Kristina Pakiz, with the Pope Paul VI Institute here in Omaha, visits her daily and together with the good nurses and neonatal staff, are doing everything they can to help Jessie remain pregnant as long as they can, stay as healthy as possible,  and to educate and prepare Jessie and Mattia for the upcoming premature birth of their daughter. A premature birth is likely, due to the early rupture of membranes, and high risk of infection.  Once baby is born, she will be in the NICU, receiving whatever care is needed, until she is strong enough to come home. Due to the overwhelming situation of being in the hospital, Jessie not being able to work, and mounting medical expenses in a situation like this, we as a family are doing everything we can to help! Becoming parents for the first time is challenging enough, but with this recent medical emergency, we would like to do what we can to ease their financial burden and stress,  give them as much peace as possible, and to be able to concentrate on Jessie's health, and the health and well-being of Jessie and Mattia's baby girl! We are humbly asking for any help that you can give them! This account is being set up to enable Jessie and Mattia to access these donations directly!
