PUSH GOAL


First off, what the heck is a “Push Goal”?! It means you guys kicked a** and we have not only met our first goal but are SURPASSING IT. This album is getting made, no doubt about it. Day 1 in the studio is down and done.

But a lot of you are coming to me and wanting to know how you can support NOW! Always, loving affirmations are priceless, my darling friends! But there’s also this new goal…

TO MAKE A MUSIC VIDEO.

This is an important feat for a lot of different reasons, one the most important being: marketing! If anyone is going to feature my album release, they will want a video to go along with the sounds. Visuals are a powerful aid in marketing your brand. And I want this album to reach as many ears as it can!

MY STORY

It’s been 10 years since I put my last acoustic album out, guys! The music biz is a messy business to navigate. People I trusted took advantage and often left me feeling used and unfulfilled. The struggle of trying to remain true and authentic to my message and my art has been REAL. But this journey has shaped me and taught me so much! I think I must have been waiting my whole life for a moment like this, with people like YOU, to have the opportunity to make something that is straight from my heart to your hands.

I set out this time last year to do it all on my own, and found out the hard way, and a lot of money later….that I am a poor producer (at best) and don’t even get me started on the technical/engineering side of things, my friends! My lesson in this process has been this: If you want to create something AMAZING, all parts need to be just that >>>> AMAZING. Collaboration is essential.

So, I teamed up with Seattle’s Ed Brooks of Resonant Mastering Studio (Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Heart, Death Cab For Cutie, Fleet Foxes...) and up-and-coming producer Nik Singleton (not only gifted with production but with the voice of an angel!) to do just that. The only part that’s missing from this dream team? Is you. 

So here's where you come in! I need your help to get this done, and get it done right. Your contributions will go towards making sure this album gets produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered, by the best of the best. So that when you are finally holding it in your hands? You will be holding on to something magical.

7 DAYS RECORDING MIXING: $4200
