Beloved Teacher Needs Brain Surgery

Jessica Robinson is a loving mother, wife, friend, and daughter who spends her days teaching children with special needs, as well as waiting tables on the weekends to help provide more financial stability for her family. She moved from rural New York, leaving the comfort of loving family and friends, to Mechanicsville, Virginia to follow her passion for teaching. Just a few days ago Jessica was diagnosed with a colloid cyst which is located in the center of her brain. She has been suffering from frequent headaches due to the cyst blocking the drainage of cerebrospinal fluid, causing pressure to build up around her brain. If left untreated a colloid cyst can cause memory problems, headaches, loss of consciousness, confusion, or death. Jessica will be meeting with a neurosurgeon to discuss the brain surgery that is necessary to remove the cyst. I created this campaign in the hopes that generous people such as yourself would be able to donate ANY amount in order to help with this unexpected financial burden. Due to the invasive nature of brain surgery Jessica will not be able to take care of her daughter, Arya Grace, while her husband Justin is at work. Her friends will be helping as much as they can, but any donation will help us ease the financial stress for this young family. With whatever funds we raise we hope to pay for childcare for their daughter Arya as well as begin to pay off Jessica's medical fees.
