My name is Jessica Phoenix and I am so proud to have been named to the Canadian Eventing Team slated to compete in Rio in August. I have been honoured and privileged to represent Canada at major games over the past nine years, including the London Olympics, the Pan Am Games in Toronto, Guadalajara and Rio de Janeiro, and the World Equestrian Games in Normany, France and Lexington, Kentucky. In 2011 with Pavarotti (owned by Don Good) we rode our way to an individual Pan Am gold medal and a team silver. In 2015, once again aboard Pavarotti, we earned the individual Pan Am silver medal and team bronze.  

As you can imagine the costs for both horse and rider for such travel can be staggering and every contribution is greatly appreciated. In addition to this page, we are also having a celebration in Wilfrid on July 21 starting at 6pm with a silent auction and a 50-50 draw. I have created this page as an opportunity for those who wish to support my Olympic journey and are unable to attend. In particular, I also wish to thank A Little Romance’s owners Don and Anita Leschied, who have given me this tremendous opportunity on such a wonderful horse.
