What’s going on
Hey all! My sister needs Your help! She's a mother of 2 beautiful kiddos, ages are 4 years & 3 months old. She's a fierce woman with a lot of heart, but has developed a rare muscular disorder that has left her frail and unable to even hold her premature newborn. This nasty disease is called Polymyositis with some underlying rheumatological condition (as of now, Dr's haven't figured out more specifics). She is currently in the hospital and while this disease may have taken most of her energy, speaking and eating abilities, it will certainly not take away her spirit!
Jessica’s Story
Her story is simple: Jessica is a mother, wife, nurse, and dancer. She always has great energy, a will to serve, and a hug to offer. She has taken on a lot of challenges over the years such as becoming the primary caretaker of our father who passed away in early 2016.
She loves Flamenco dancing, was a former Zumba instructor and worked in units caring for postpartum mothers and most recently a pediatrics unit.
Where your donations are going
We are seeking immediate financial help for her medical and household expenses as her condition has not allowed her to work and her husband has been home full-time taking care of their two children during her health decline. Because she is unable to do simple tasks such as hold her infant child or wash her own hair she will need an abundance of support, which means hiring caretakers.
