Press Democrat CSR, Jessica Otero and partner Levi Lloyd were out early on the morning of February 7th delivering newspapers to customers on Levi’s route in West Sonoma County.
Levi's adult daughter was at home and awaken by the smell of smoke in the house she shared with her father, Jessica and Jessica’s son. She escaped the fire by going out a window.
Currently Jessica, Levi and two adult children are living in motels and looking for permanent housing in Sonoma County. They did not have renters insurance and lost everything in the fire. What wasn’t destroyed by the fire has been permeated with smoke and is not usable. Once they secure housing they will need to replace everything in their house.
