Jessica and Jariel - IVF Journey

To our friends, family and anyone else reading this,

For those willing to open this and read our story, Jariel and I appreciate it more than you know. It is with both vulnerability and hope that we share a significant chapter of our lives with you. For the past 5 years Jariel and I have struggled with infertility. During this time, we have both undergone a multitude of tests only to be diagnosed with unexplained infertility. These past 5 years we have done 1 cycle of IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization) which ended in 2 successful embryo transfers. Although we did get pregnant, they ended in miscarriages. With that being said our next step moving forward is another try at IVF. We have been blessed to find an option of doing things a different way, the chance to have genetic testing of our embryos before the transfer. So today, we are asking for your help and support.

For those of you that are familiar with fertility issues, you understand the heartbreak of everything as well as the huge financial challenge of it all as our insurance does not cover any IVF fertility treatment. Up to this point we have paid for everything out of pocket, with the help of the closest members of our families, and although we have been saving, we have learned just how much this process will cost. Whether it's money, a prayer, or positive vibes sent our way, we are so grateful for your support and just know Baby Perez will be so loved and know the village it took to make it all possible.

Para aquellos que estén dispuestos a abrir esto y leer nuestra historia, Jariel y yo la apreciamos más de lo que creen. Es con vulnerabilidad y esperanza que compartimos con ustedes un capítulo importante de nuestras vidas. Durante los últimos 5 años Jariel y yo hemos luchado contra la infertilidad. Durante este tiempo, ambos nos hemos sometido a multitud de pruebas sólo para ser diagnosticados con infertilidad inexplicable. Estos últimos 5 años hemos realizado 1 ciclo de FIV (Fertilización In Vitro) que terminó con 2 transferencias de embriones exitosas. Aunque quedamos embarazadas, terminaron en abortos espontáneos. Dicho esto, nuestro próximo paso hacia adelante es otro intento de FIV. Hemos tenido la suerte de encontrar una opción de hacer las cosas de otra manera, la posibilidad de realizar pruebas genéticas de nuestros embriones antes de la transferencia. Por eso hoy pedimos su ayuda y apoyo.

Para aquellos de ustedes que están familiarizados con los problemas de fertilidad, comprenden la angustia de todo, así como el enorme desafío financiero que conlleva, ya que nuestro seguro no cubre ningún tratamiento de fertilidad. Hasta ahora hemos pagado todo de nuestro bolsillo, con la ayuda de los familiares más cercanos, y aunque hemos ido ahorrando, hemos aprendido cuánto costará este proceso. Ya sea dinero, una oración o vibraciones positivas que nos envíen, estamos muy agradecidos por su apoyo y sabemos que Baby Pérez será muy querido y conocerá el pueblo necesario para hacerlo todo posible.
