Jesse's Quest for Health!

Greetings!
I am writing today to ask for help for one of our own. Many of you know Jesse Quinlin: Wife and Mother Extraordinaire, Administrative Assistant for the Liberal Arts Department, Jump Start Social Activities Chair, Web Accessibility Master, Graphic Design Guru, and all-around positive campus presence for students and staff alike at Northeastern Junior College (NJC).
Jesse has been battling a serious bone infection in the roof of her mouth for several months now. Countless months of antibiotics were not able to tackle the level of infection she has. She now has to have oral surgery to remove the infected bone, and then bone grafts to replace the bone that will be removed. As you can imagine, this is a very expensive surgery and Jesse’s out-of-pocket expenses will total $8,000. To make matters worse, ALL $8,000 is due before the surgery will be performed. When Jesse asked if they could postpone the surgery to be able to save up money for it, she was told that with the level of infection she has – if not treated, the infection would move to her heart and potentially kill her.
Adding to the financial struggle are medical bills that they are currently working on from an emergency appendectomy that Jeff had to have in July when his appendix ruptured.
Any of you that know Jesse know that she would never ask for assistance herself – she is typically the caregiver and never wants to burden anyone else. It would be so fantastic if those of us that know her and love her could ease this burden for her and her family. Let’s allow her to focus on healing!! As always, thank you for taking care of our NJC family! If you are unable to help financially, no worries. Positive thoughts, vibes, and prayers are appreciated!
Thank you for your generosity!
