On November 8th, we lost our Jesse. He was the best of us. It’s an awful thing in so many ways and we just want to make this time for his family and his partner Shieanne as easy as it possibly could in this super difficult time. There’s so much to deal with in times of sudden unexpected grief and finances shouldn’t be something one has to consider. We’d really appreciate any help you can contribute, it really means so much to us everything everyone has said in our Arsenal community and beyond regarding Jesse.
He truly had a heart of gold. Living a life where I got to be in constant communication with him for three years straight was a blessing I’ll forever feel lucky over. Jesse was the type of person that would have made our favorite comic book heroes proud. Jesse was a true believer as Stan Lee would say. His excitement for art was infectious and inspiring. He was loved by so many and helped make our shops what they are. Can’t say enough how thankful we are for everyone’s kind words during all this.
We’ll be having a gathering at the Ventura shop this Wednesday November 15th at 6pm to celebrate Jesse. His family will also be having a celebration of life ceremony in his home town of Santa Maria next month. We will be sure to post details when they’re available.
