Jesse Hyers - Final Expenses (2 month update)

A family man who loved his family, a loyal employee who went above and beyond, a spiritual man who showed up every Sunday to help the congregation, a dedicated support system for the local fire/police so we could all depend on their services and a humorist who loved to pull pranks . This describes the man that you knew but to us, he was Jesse.

Jesse's time with us has been tragically cut short and his loved ones are devastated. We will no longer see the grin that has been described to "light up a room". Jesse went to meet our Father Sunday morning after a brief battle against COVID. When he was admitted to the hospital Thursday, we thought he would pull through. But God had greater plans for him. We will never know what those plans were until we meet him again one day.

Jesse wanted the best for his wife and children. He was a hard worker and excellent provider. With the emotional pain and stress of loss that death brings, we would like to lighten the financial burden for his family. We are raising money to help his wife and children as we know there will be final medical bills, funeral costs, lingering bills that cant be paid because he was the sole provider (which he considered to be a blessing for his family). Many of you have asked what you can do to help the family. This is the best thing we could come up with. As a community, let us come together and help this family make it through. Let us show love, support and compassion.

We thank you in advance for any support you are able to provide. We encourage you to lift the surviving family up in prayer. Keep them in your thoughts and PLEASE don't take another day for granted. No tomorrow is ever guaranteed so look forward to tomorrow but don't forget about today. Call your loved ones, go see that friend you haven't seen in a while, tell everyone you love them no matter how many times you've done so and PLEASE prepare your family for the burdens they may be left with should you pass away suddenly. No one likes to think about "what could be" but "what if" can come.

Someone I love has gone away
And life is not the same
The greatest give that you can give
Is just to speak their name

I need to hear the stories
And the tales of days gone past
I need for you to understand
These memories must last

We cannot make more memories
Since they're no longer here
So when you speak of them to me
It's music to my ear
