Jesse Grimm Memorial Fund

On August 20th 2018, 10 days after turning 27 my dear nephew Jesse Grimm passed away from a heroin overdose. What a tragic loss of such a bright handsome young man with a heart of gold. I didn't see him too often in recent years but whenever I did he had a bright, sunny smile and genuine way of making you feel very important and loved by him. He endured a lot of difficulties in his life, including having a mother who also suffers with addiction. Unfortunately his influences were not always positive. But what impresses me still to this day is that despite his struggles with addiction he never got into any significant legal trouble. He kept his name clear and also kept his family protected by doing his best to hide his addiction and distance himself from them when he fell pray to it. 

With his unfortunate death comes the costly expense of a funeral and a memorial to honor his loss. He doesn't come from a wealthy family and they certainly were not prepared to have to take on this burden, but his father and brother have  done so with such grace. He is having a service this Saturday at Wisconsin Memorial. For details please private message me. 

The request I have of you is to consider any amount you can to help offset all the funeral expenses and perhaps allow enough left over for his family to establish a memorial fund in his name, The monies will be sent directly to his father, Jim Grimm (my dear former brother-in-law). 

A silver lining in all of this is Jesse was an organ donor and as such he may very well have impacted many peoples lives.
