Jerry’s Fight Against AML
Donation protected
Hello everyone, this is Donna I’m one of Destiny’s best friends. I’ve known Jerry since he lived in Ballard on 14th & 60th, my grandmas house was just down the street. I’m reaching out to all of you to share Jerry’s fight and give you a way to help him and his family out.
As many of you know Jerry was admitted to the hospital on February 20th. The following day the diagnosis was confirmed, Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Jerry will be in the hospital for a few more weeks, he’s started on his 21 days of chemo. Once chemo is done and Jerry is in remission his care will transfer to the UW Cancer Team.
The doctors have told Destiny that they expect Jerry to be out of work for at least 6 months. Jerry, Destiny and the kids will need financial support during Jerry’s fight and long recovery time.
Any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated to help releave part of the stress of the situation.
