Jerome Senior Cat

Raising money for Jerome's first vet visit.  He is a senior cat.  The streets have left him with an old eye injury leaves him partially blind in one eye.  The other is getting eye meds for a URI.  Ear meds for his ear infection.  Skin condition scaley and pads on paws swollen required an injection of an antibiotic and will need reevaluated for further possible treatment as it can be autoimmune.  His physical exam was completed.  He is sunken in rear when walking with major muscle wasting.   He has overall pain so he is on light pain meds for some days.  He lays most all the time for now since he is uncomfortable.  Next steps next week are xrays (usually 110) to rule out injury old or arthritic and senior blood work (usually 110-130 deepening on what is sent).   Felv/FIV completed also.  He is overall in good condition considering he has been on the streets for many many many years.  With an indoor life and good nutrition he has many years to thrive and be happy.  Let's win one for the Seniors.
