Jermaine Hernandez wrongful police shooting.

Today February 7, 2024, one of our good friends Jey, was involved in an active police shooting during a traffic stop. While being pulled over, his car had an aftermarket exhaust that caused it to backfire when coming to a stop. That then led to the police officers thinking he was shooting and so they opened fire. Coming from those of us who know him, we know that he is a hard working man, a father, and a friend that we could call on at any time. Jey bends himself over backwards to make sure the needs of others are met, before those of himself and is a highly respected individual in his place of work and also within in his group of friends and family. We understand that with emergency surgery being required after the shooting, it is important to us to make sure that his medical bills be the last of his worries. So as a large community, we ask that we all help this young man overcome this obstacle in his life. We got your back Jey.
