Abby and Jericho's homecoming

Donation protected
My name is Holly Jones.
My sister, Abby Huskey is a stay at home mom with 4 children living on a small island in Alaska. Towards the end of her pregnancy with her 5th child, she and her husband, along with her children were sent to the main land to stay in a hotel for the remainder of her pregnancy (as is typical for Alaskan islanders as there are no adequate health care facilities on the islands).
All of her pregnancies have been uneventful for the most part, and this one was no exception. She went into labor and progressed normally. Until she was ready to push, and the baby's heart rate plummeted with each contraction. They transported her from the midwife run birth center to the hospital and rushed her into an emergency C-section. Jericho was unresponsive and had to be resuscitated at birth, due to the cord being wrapped tightly around his neck. He came to and was declared healthy.
But less than 10 minutes later, Abby began to feel weak and started to lose consciousness.  Her blood pressure crashed from loss of blood and she had to be rushed into emergency surgery to stop internal bleeding. She received over 5 blood transfusions, and they still couldn't figure out what was causing her bleeding. She lost 4 liters of blood total. For her safety, she had to leave her children behind in Alaska and be flown to Seattle, WA with her husband and baby where the facilities were better equipped to deal with her issues in case of an emergency.
Eventually she had to have a catheter inserted into her groin with ink to find the source of her continued bleeding issue. They used a coil to seal up what turned out to be a small cut on a uterine artery that was causing the bleed. Her levels improved and she is scheduled to be discharged and sent home on Tuesday.

On top of everything she's been through, because of how Alaska healthcare works, she and her husband had to live in a motel until the baby was born, and therefore they have had no source of income for the last month.

I want to raise some money to give to her to help with their finances once they return home. Being away from home for so long has set them back financially, and now I don't know how they are going to support their 5 children and themselves without a little help.

Any donation, big or small will help immensely, and will be so greatly appreciated. I'm not trying to raise a fortune, just enough to give them a cushion until they can have some form of income coming in.
Thank you so much for your help. God bless.
