Jeremy Casillas was born with a heart condition, which was finally corrected14 years ago, with that surgery he was given a new lease on life and was no longer held back by the physical limitations of his heart.
He had started exploring a world of sports that had been closed off to him from birth and found a passion for competing in Mixed Martial Arts and Muay Thai. He found the love of his life, became engaged and started blazing the trail for his new found family. Things were great.
About 6 months ago he noticed the energy slowly stripping from his body, finding it harder and harder to keep up with his usual everyday activities. He attributed this lathargy to a change in diet and life style at first until a couple months ago when he finally recognized where he had felt this way before.
He was almost identical to the way he had felt before his surgery 14 years ago. Finally on December 22 2017 he had me take him into the E.R. to get checked up because he had felt worse than ever. After spending all night there with various test being conducted a cardiothoracic surgeon told him he had an aneurysm on his aortic valve and that he needed open heart surgery as soon as possible.
He was also told that he could not lift any more than 10lbs which means could no longer work his full time job with FedEx (which offers no medical benefits) until he fully recovers from surgery.
He is becoming overwhelmed with fear at the unkown of how he will pay the bills, rent and provide for his family until he is able to return to work.
Its hard seeing him so weak and fragile.
I want to help ease his mind and carry some of the load to help through this troubling time.
Unfortunately due to medical reasons on myself i am not able to work. A friend recomended that we give this a try, so here we are humbly asking for your help.
