Jeremy's TBI Medical treatment
Donation protected
On December 17th, 2019 at approximately 3pm, Jeremy fell of the roof of a house he was building and landed on concrete. He was mercy flighted to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA where he needed surgery right away for swelling and bleeding on the brain.
The right side of his skull has been removed to allow the brain room for swelling. He broke his right hip, wrist, his bones in his face, and nose, and skull. He will need more reconstructive surgeries to correct these and to replace his skull. The amount of brain damage won't be known until the swelling goes down.
He is currently in the Trauma Neuro ICU where he'll remain for a while. Then he will need extensive therapy to regain any loss of functioning and strength.
Jeremy has no insurance. He owns his business and it was too expensive. He also opted out of worker's comp to save money. He is a father of two. A brother. A son. Any little but helps to offset this cost.
