Jeremiah's Medical Expences
Donation protected
On June 21st, Jeremiah went into work with a small pain in his back. As he worked, the pain began to worsen and he began to lose feeling in his right leg. Michella, his wife, picked him up from work and by the time they arrived at the ER in Tallequah, OK he had lost feeling in both legs. After an MRI, they found a spot on his spine and was flown immediately to WRMC in Fayetteville, AR. By the time he landed, he had no feeling from his abdomen down and could not move his legs. Emergency surgery revealed a blood clot pressing against his spine. The blood cot was removed, but he still had no feeling or movement below his chest. He was told full recovery could take about one year.
There is never a good time for an emergency like this, but at the time of the surgery his wife was 35 weeks pregnant with their first child. That only makes this situation even more stressful for both of them.
Jeremiah has now been moved to a rehab facility in Little Rock, AR. God is continually moving in Jeremiah's body; he now has feeling and limited (but improving) movement in both of his legs. This will be a long road for both of them.
The goal for this campaign is $22,000 to cover out of pocket medical expenses for the helicopter ride, hospital stay, and rehab.
Jeremiah is determined to work as hard as he can to make his rehab stay as short as possible. Please help lessen his stress by helping financially and especially prayerfully!
