Jenny Jo Needs Our Help! (and quickly)

Donation protected
I hope you are sitting down for this.

First, let me say, "Hello old friend, new friend, dear one, far away
one, and near one! Hello family! It's been way too long for most of us
and
we miss everyone tremendously."

Now here's the real deal. (And it's way real)
It is with a heavy, yet hopeful heart that I tell this to you,
and

I'm just gonna give it to you straight:

Jenny Jo was having seizures.
She went in to get checked out.
She was diagnosed with epilepsy.
She went in for scans and they found a tumor. A brain tumor.

This is the cause of the seizures.

The seizures are somewhat mild when they happen, but the idea
that they may occur while driving is unnerving.

Here's what needs to happen:

She needs to get the tumor removed.
(yes, brain surgery is probably one of the scariest things there is)
Insurance will pay for some of this, but we don't know how much.
What insurance will not pay for is lost wages, childcare, general
up-keep pre/during/post operation.

On the bright-side,

We found out sooner than later!
The doctor says there is time to handle the situation.

How much time?

Ehhh, there are many unanswered questions.
We don't know!

We are asking everyone to hold a clear and healthy image of our
beloved Jenny Jo in their hearts & minds.
Please, think of her each day as though she were enveloped with a
general sense of well-being and calm, with vibrant spirits and a positive outlook.

As you know,
Jenny is not only one of the best people we know- artist, writer,
sister, confidante, daughter, dreamer, clairvoyant,
friend, bestie, lover, sage advisor...

She is also the mother of three incredible people.

A mother has a trouble like nobody can know when she worries
for her children.

I know your first thought is 'Oh! This is terrible! I ought to call.'
Please, know that Jenny has gone over and over her condition and
situation so many times over the past several weeks.

Text or snail-mail are preferred.

She is fielding so many details right now, it won't be easy for her to correspond in a timely way, so please do not take it personally if she doesn't get back to you right away.

We are asking for monetary donations.
Favors are greatly appreciated, however-
Scheduling favors turns into a full time position in matters such as these.

We are currently working on taking as much off of Jenny Jo's plate as possible.

Here are some goals:

Hire a Meals On Wheels type of service
(We are looking at potentially 3 months)
Hire childcare
Hire once a week yard maintenance
Hire once a week housecleaner

---We are trying to get as many regularly purchased items like
dogfood/catfood, various groceries, etc. on a scheduled delivery
system.

We are also working on a Patreon for JJ so donations can be
monthly and people can have the option of autopay.

I'm really sorry to be the bearer of this news.
We all love Jenny so much.

Just to give you an idea of how much things cost:

say you wanted to purchase dinner for JJ and her children for one
night, think- $10 per person plus tax, delivery, tip.
That's $50-$60 for one dinner, one night for Jenny and her family. (and that's like, burritos)

It relieves her the burden of planning for and cooking the meal,
and reduces the stress of a gouged income.

We are playing the long game since we don't know exactly how long this process will take.
Anything and everything helps!

Also-
We had to twist Jenny Jo's arm to do this.
Please share this with literally everyone.

Let's get her all set so she can get better!
So much love to you all. I know this past year hasn't been easy for
any of us. Please, take care of yourselves and stay safe out there!
We can get through this, TOGETHER!

Love,
Jessy Brown
