UPDATE......
We got the results back from Josh’s neuro surgeon on Friday. Josh’s tumor was a grade 3 anaplastic oligodendroglioma. He will need oral chemotherapy and radiation, which will happen in different stages. The next couple of months will be the most intense, followed by cycles of chemo for an additional 6 months to 1 year.
Needless to say, I am very saddened by this news and I am struggling to come to terms with our new reality. Josh is so faithful, positive and hopeful. He is facing these challenges with strength and chooses to focus on everything good in his life. If you know Josh, you know how truly good he is. Thank you for all you are doing to help us, support us and encourage us. You have been a bright light shining in a dark place. Please continue to pray for him and our family.
Josh and Jenny are expecting their first baby together in March and we have faith that this new life is feeling their parents strength and love in this difficult time as well as Tyler and Cora. Please continue to pray for Josh's healing and for the entire Schans family. You are all very loved. Thank you for your contribution and/or prayers.
