Jennifer´s Peru Fund

Hi Friends. As many of you know, I was robbed twice out of my apartment in Peru in March. As I don´t have residency in Peru, I was saving all of my money in a money box in my room. So all of my money I had earned and saved in Peru was in that box and stolen. I also had come down with hand, foot and mouth disease and was quarantined for a week and quite sick and unable to work. Because of the way I was treated while sick, I decided to stop working where I had been working. So I was sick, robbed, and unemployed in Peru. Recently, I was hired to teach English at a cultural institute called ICPNA here in Peru. Through this job I will be able to support myself and get a work permit. However, over two months of job seaching and interviewing, and another month of training without pay have left me in a very tough situation without money. I will start teaching next week in the beginning of June. And I will get my first paycheck at the end of June. However, until then, to pay rent, eat, and also to go to Lima and stay atleast 5 days while paying several various fees to work on processing my work visa -which is quite a complicated process- I am asking for some fiancial help and support from my friends. Anything youd be willing to contribute I will be ´so grateful for and is very much needed and appreciated.
