The Final Countdown: Jenn's Reconstructive Surgery

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. My name is Jennifer Wilson. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. At an early age I became pre-diabetic suffering from severe depression/anxiety and spent most of my days trying to figure out if life was worth it. 

The most important challenge that I had to overcome was building my confidence and self-esteem. Over the last 6 years through healthy habits and exercise I have successfully lost 150lbs. While this is a freeing feeling, the excess skin left behind has not only caused rashes, sores and irritation but unbearable physical and mental discomfort as well. 

Despite body dysmorphia I have worked relentlessly in shedding this weight and becoming the best version of me while building my confidence. As a personal trainer and group fitness instructor I have dedicated my life to helping others do the same.

While taking the journey to build confidence while helping others join me, I have found a physician willing to perform the necessary procedures totaling $30,000. $20,000 covers an Abdominoplasty, Mastopexy, Fat Injection to upper breast, Liposuction or abdomen and flanks with anesthesia and facility fees. The last $10,000 will be used to perform minimally invasive surgery to both arms & upper back. 

I take extreme pride in being 100% transparent about my journey and have been since the very beginning. Doing this on my own has taught me so much, one of the most import things being reaching out for help when needed. In this final countdown the only way I can reach the finish line is with the help of YOU.

I truly believe this surgery will allow me to close this chapter of my life and any donations and contributions are appreciated and welcome. With only 6 months to reach this goal, I type this at peace because I know as a village we can get there.
