Jennifer Lee and Family Fund

This fundraising campaign is for my beautiful friend Jennifer Lee and her family. 

It all started with something small, annoying, insignificant. What Jen was led to believe was easy to remove, easy to treat, ended up evolving into something much more sinister. Her concern began early this year, but she wouldn't find out until May that it was cancer. The doctors had a positive outlook. We all did. Surgery, chemo, radiation, recovery and back to work before October. That was the plan. The tumor grew back shortly after being removed and another surgery was performed. She was stage 3 at the start of her diagnosis and then stage 4 by the second surgery. At this point the tumor has grown back again and the cancer has metastasized in her lungs. She began a second more aggressive and debilitating chemo treatment before switching gears and trying her luck with immunotherapy. Complications have arisen and our prayers are growing stronger. As quickly as I have told her story, that's how quickly this has taken a turn for the worst. Within five months her world has become unrecognizable. My sassy, fearless friend's spirit has been beaten down by this disease. Her family now waits to see if this last resort treatment delivers its promise to give her life again. 

I cannot put into words how much she means to me, much less tell you what she means to her family. I want to  give them time with her that work does not stop for, I want to give them peace of mind that medical bills do not grant, and I want to give them love by showing them how much we care. Please help me by donating any amount you are able to provide. I know money will not make their worries go away completely, but I know this will give them comfort in knowing that no matter how this story ends, we will be there for them to support them in any way we can.
