Jennifer Justice COVID Fight & Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Amanda Marcolini and my sister Jennifer Justice was taken to the hospital Monday evening due to complications of COVID. Jennifer was struggling to breathe and her body was unable to keep her O2 SAT's within normal range. After being taken to the hospital by ambulance, they found she developed pneumonia and immediately admitted her to begin treatment. Within 24 hours she declined even more despite the medical staff's treatment efforts. Prior to making the decision they would need to intubate they tried placing her on Bipap, however her body did not tolerate it very well and she was still declining. Around 4, Wednesday evening the decision was made to transfer her to ICU for intubation. At the moment she is in stable condition without any current complications.

My sister has always had a huge heart, she is a beautiful person inside and out, a wonderful and loving wife, and an amazing mother whose whole world revolves around her son, Ethan. She dedicated her life to saving lives until MS stole that from her earlier this year. She has since been on disability which has been a struggle for her and my brother-in-law. As you can imagine, the medical treatments and hospital stay are going to be a huge burden on their little family. I am asking for those that can to please donate to help alleviate some of this burden from them, as you know sitting around and waiting for news from the hospital is stressful enough. Todd mentioned many of you have offered to bring food to the house, however as sweet of a gesture as that is, my nephew is an extremely picky eater. If you would like, rather than making a dish Todd has requested that maybe gift cards to restaurants may be a better idea. This will also allow them to get out of the house a bit.
