Jenisha Chhetri is suffering from:
(a) an eye disorder called Corneal Opacity
(b) a more serious brain condition Congenital Hydrocephalus.

Jenisha was born on Aug 7, 2014 and was diagnosed with corneal opacity in both her eyes so her vision is severely impaired. She was taken to LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad (one of the premier eye centres in India) as one and half month infant in Sep 2014 and was asked to come back when older so that corrective treatment could be applied. For various reasons she has not been able to go back for treatment.
Later it was found out that she also suffers from a more serious condition called congenital hydrocephalus. This causes accumulation of fluid in the brain which if untreated can be fatal. She underwent neurosurgery in CMC, Vellore (INDIA) in Sep 2015 wherein a tube (shunt) has been inserted which drains the excess liquid from the brain into the stomach. Jenisha intermittently suffers headaches due to this condition.
Her father works in Middle East as a security guard earning minimum wage (approx $300 per month) and sends money back home how much he is able to save. But that money is not enough to make ends meet and take care of medical expenses of Jenisha. Her mother is not able to work as she has to take care of the baby. But even if she is able to work, both [parents] wont be able to take care of medical expenses.
Money needed for her medical expense is around $6000, out of which about $2000 ( Rs. 1.5 lac) has been raised in India. Whatever money we raise here will be sent to India for her treatment. A legal affidavit has been signed by Jenisha's mother that whatever money is raised, will be used towards her medical treatment only.
