Jenine & Scott Gay

Hi, my name is Teresa Seeber and I’m starting this fundraiser for my daughter and son in law, Jenine and Scott Gay. Jenine was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy 3 years ago. She has completed chemotherapy and radiation and has monthly injections, followed by scans, blood work and doctor visits in Grapevine, TX. These injections will continue for the next 7-8 years. She has battled Cancer fiercely for herself and her family. That wasn’t enough for Cancer though, it came blazing back into their lives in July, like a 103 mph fastball. Scott was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma. He is on a very aggressive treatment plan. Round one of chemotherapy began in mid August. In the fall, another round of chemo, running concurrent with radiation, will begin. Side effects will impact his everyday life. At this point, we do not know the true length of his battle. We do know that he, like Jenine, will fight this cancer with everything he has! Their girls are their life, they will battle for them! We can’t fight the cancer battle for them, but one thing we can do is fight the financial impact it has had on their family of four. Let’s knock the financial burden off their plate! As a concert and sports enthusiast, it crossed my mind with sell outs at AT&T stadium and Globe Life Field for Taylor Swift, Metallica and the Texas Rangers, that $1 from each attendee at any of those venues would help Jenine and Scott survive the cost of cancer!
