Jekara's Xmas Flood Relief
On Christmas night, Jekara Wilson woke up to a weird noise that sounded like something sizzling on the stove. She soon realized that it was water spewing from her toilet and bathtub. Like a tsunami the water kept coming. In the matter of 45 minutes, despite her efforts, her entire house was flooded with 6-12 inches of water and sewage.
Most of Jekara’s possessions have been damaged or destroyed. She loves to refurbish and collect antiques, most of which are now are ruined. All of her clothes that she wears daily were on the bedroom floor and not salvageable. So far, the landlord is refusing to replace her property. Her renter’s insurance is not covering the cost of the property, since this disaster is technically the landlord’s fault.
Basically… we need to help this girl out!!!
