Study in South Africa

My name is Sally Lahoud and I am a psychology student. It has been my dream since I was young to complete my degree in psychology and become a family therapist. Children are my passion and I would do anything to be able to help them out the best way I know how (therapy). Before starting university and during my years of study, I always worked with children, I couldn't get enough!


I began my education in the Lebanese Amercian University in Beirut. During that time I was on the honours list and was so happy to finally be studying what I was passionate about. Unfortunatey, I had to abruptly stop halfway through my second year. I then moved to the UAE in order to work, save money and retun to my studies. After approximately 6 years in the UAE I have managed to save some money howevever I have learned that with the high cost of living here, the journey is taking a lot longer than expected. I have now been accepted to Wits University in South Africa however I do not have enough money to cover my tuition and living cost for the duration I was accepted for.  I worked as a customer service manage in the UAE making $22,000 a year, of which I was able to save $18,000. This will cover approximately 15% of my tuition and living cost in South Africa and I'm asking your help to cover the rest.
