Jeff's Recovery Fund

Last Wednesday (13 December 2017) my cousin's husband, Jeff, was hit by a driver while jogging.  Catfish Charlie was their beloved dog who was jogging with Jeff.  Here's the message we received from her:

"Jeff and I are in need of lots of prayers and good thoughts today. I received a call from Lancaster General Hospital this morning. Jeff and Charlie were hit by a driver on their morning jog. Jeff is waiting to go int surgery on his right ankle and left knee as I type. Catfish Charlie’s remains were taken to a local vet emergency clinic where they wait for us to make arrangements I’m at Hobby airport waiting for the 10:30 flight that will take me first to New Orleans and then to Baltimore. I should reach Jeff in person around 6 tonight."

Jeff recently relocated to Pennsylvania for a new job and Lynda has remained in Texas until she finds a job to join him.  She found out today that he hasn’t been at his new job long enough to get FMLA or short term disability so next week is his last paycheck until he can come back to work.  It's difficult enough to have the distance between them but then have to worry about money while he recovers makes it even harder.  He will need rehabilitation for 6 weeks and she has to return back to Texas by 1 January 2018.
