Boston Marathon for Lynn Julian

It was a moment that nobody involved will ever forget.  In 2013, terrorists decided to detonate homemade bombs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.  I was less than a mile away from finishing my 2nd attempt at the Boston Marathon that day.  After being stopped on the course, I quickly found out that my wife, brother and close friends were impacted by the two bombs that went off.  While none of them were physically injured, there were hundreds of others that were hurt that day.  Three people died that afternoon. 

Five years later, I'm training to return to once again tackle the Boston Marathon.  My goal is to finish the race I first attempted to finish 19 years ago. 

And this time, I'm doing it to help another survivor.  My wife Elena (a survivor and PTSD sufferer) and I met Lynn Julian through a terrorist attack survivors network called Strength To Strength.  Lynn was outside of a hotel next to the finish line when the first bomb went off in 2013.  As a result of her injuries sustained that day, Lynn is disabled.

All donations made will support Lynn's continued therapy to help her deal with a multitude of injuries from that day.  Lynn's therapeutic needs include hyperbaric oxygen therapy, hearing aids, brain supplements and more.

Having learned of the struggles that survivors with invisible injuries deal with, Jeff is passionate about helping individuals like Lynn.
