On August 7th, Jeff Kilgard passed away far too soon at the age of 35. Everyone who knew him loved his passion for baseball, video games, 80s pop culture and his constant smile. Jeff gave his all to his passions - to take baseball for example, he not only played in a sandlot baseball league, but he carried equipment, recruited players, ran the website, and did everything else needed for years. His friends in the video game community have similar stories to tell.
As a close friend, I never saw Jeff in a bad mood for longer than a minute or two - a big smile was always right around the corner.
Of course, nothing matched the love he had for his family. His wife Shelby and 7 year old son Mason were incredibly important to him. Now they need your help.
We are asking for donations to help Shelby and Mason through this tough time, whether it is for the funeral, other expenses, or to help the family move forward.
It's hard to honor a truly good man who is sorely missed. Every little bit will help.
