Jef Everhart Celebration of Life

Jef Everhart touched so many people's lives. With his passing, so many people have asked how they can help, where they can send flowers or a card. In lieu of flowers, cards and gifts, we humbly request that you contribute to this campaign.
Jef's mom has graciously given her blessing to allow a crowd funding campaign to help offset expenses incurred at the end of Jef's life, and to further celebrate his legacy and memory.

Prior to Jef's passing, he did take an ambulance ride. We all know those are not free and are quite costly. Jef's mom plans to donate Jef's organs and tissues. Cremation services are not inexpensive either.
On December 30th, there will be a Celebration of Life at a location yet to be determined. The room rental plus food for those expected to attend is an additional cost that Carol is not prepared to shoulder.
Any contribution you can make, no matter how small, is appreciated. All monies collected via this campaign will be presented to Jef's mom to offset cremation and Celebration of Life expenses.
The fund raising goal is purely a number we projected would cover the ambulance bill, cremation and Celebration of Life expenses. If we raise more than those expenses, all money will be donated to a local charity in Jef's name.
Many of us know that despite not having children of his own, Jef loved kids. Jef also loved his community of Carlsbad and his connection with Vista. His mom has targeted local charities like Kids Club of Calvary Church or even Brother Benno’s to receive any additional funds raised here above and beyond expenses.
We ask that you remember Jef the way he lived his life, generously. Jef always had time for us. Let's be there for his mom now.
