Jean's 30th: Unite & Fight Eating Disorders

I just turned 30 today! As I step into a new decade, I'm not just celebrating my birthday; I'm embracing a mission to make a profound difference. My journey hasn't been easy. Throughout my twenties, my battle with anorexia and bulimia was no secret to those close to me. The initial compliments on my weight loss were intoxicating, pushing me to pursue an even more drastic transformation. I chased an ideal that nearly cost me everything including my life, reaching a point where my ribcage was more prominent than the strength within me, weighing just 49kg at a height of 170 cm. Anorexia has the highest death rate of all mental illness.

This struggle has taught me that eating disorders are not a choice but a relentless battle, a lifelong fight against invisible chains. As I celebrate my 30th year, I've chosen to turn my pain into purpose. Instead of gifts, I'm asking for your support in a cause close to my heart.
