Jean-Pierre Lemarie Funeral Service

We are shocked and Heartbroken with the untimely loss of Jean-Pierre Lemarie. He was truly a talented musician, composer and performer. He had such a sparkly personality and was always the life of the party. Eugéne would like to have a service for all of those close to Jean Pierre here in New York. As he is emotionally not able to do anything of this capacity right now, I have taken it upon myself to start this page in order to raise the funds for a service for our beloved friend. He will be placed in a funeral home of our choosing. The French Consulate will make the final arrangements for his transportation to his final resting spot the family plot in Mellon. I’m reaching out to all Jean Pierre’s friends, colleagues & students to please help and contribute to make this a possibility. Given Eugéne’s financial situation he would not be able to cover something like this. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for all your support & kindness during this difficult time period. This is however a time sensitive venture. Funds are needed for both a small funeral service here but also so that his remains can be repatriated. Jean Pierre will be moved to a funeral home within the next few days. As of  now it seems he will be at a funeral home in Flushing pending the approval of the French Consulate. Once the French Consulate has gives the approval we will be able to send out exact name, location, date and time of service. Because we are not sure how much all of this will cost we have initially set it at $2,000, this amount may change.
