A year ago I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the breast. By September 2016, the cancer was found also to be in the lymph, bone marrow, and lung. Due to a year of chemotherapy and other treatments, I now no longer am able to work. I have been a nurse for 27 years- a profession that I loved working in daily, helping patients heal and recuperate, while building strong relationships with many wonderful people. This has been a very humbling experience to learn what it's like to be on the other side, as a patient, in this current healthcare climate. Although I prefer to be a helper and giver, I now find myself in an odd place- instead needing to be the one asking for help. 
Many of you know that I am an avid outdoorswoman with an adventurous, free spirit, who loves being in nature. I love spending time exploring our beautiful state (and elsewhere), and love camping. 
Here is my fantastic trailer, which I love, and started buying when I had a substantially more supportive income. Now however, I am faced with needing to sell it, because I can't afford to keep paying for it in addition to the exorbitant cost of cobra health insurance and medical bills. My short term disability is soon to run out, and Social Security Disability Income is aproved to begin in September (a record-quick approval due to my poor, terminal prognosis).
Did I mention that I have three stellar (nearly grown, but still being financially supported by me...three student loan payments...ugh) daughters?
Your generous and loving support will help in so many ways! I am hoping to pay off my R-Pod trailer first and foremost so to have as much time as possible out enjoying nature. In addition to this, I'd love to pay off my truck (my only car payment). Lastly, any additional funds will go to help pay for medical bills and monthly insurance payments of (*gasp) $950. All in all, this entire donation will go to aiding my continued well-being, as well as helping to defray/absorb the growing cost of my medical care.
