Chasing Jade Horizons: Youth mental health
Tax deductible
Young people in New Hampshire struggle with accessing mental health resources. As a high school teacher, I see students struggling with depression, anxiety and bipolar, to name a few. I also see the devastating impact these illnesses have on students' academics. I would like to help struggling young people, like my students, gain access to the help they need. Chasing Jade Horizons' mission is to help these youth get the assistance they need. To learn more about this non-profit organization, please go to: www.chasingjadehorizons.org
Since 2005, when I was much younger, I started climbing Mt. Washington in the winter to raise money for various non-profit organizations. I'm guessing I've raised around $50,000, but I'm honestly not keeping track. This year is a bit different, however. My feet haven't been cooperating. I am no longer able to run, hike and just walking is painful. So, this year will be super hard, but I'm up for the challenge. Please help me raise money for our youth. Thank you.
