Medical Treatment For Cancer

Hi! My name is Lillian Hunt and my mom was diagnosed with stage four cancer two years ago during covid. They removed two tumors, one the size of a cantaloupe, the other the size of a softball. She's had an incredibly rough journey and suprised my family with how far she's made it. Especially since she was so immunocompromised during covid. Its been two years and we have been trying our hardest to stay afloat, but with constant medical bills due to my father also having a mysterious illness that doctors struggled to diagnose we are so nearly bankrupt. It turns out the state found a loophole in classifying my mom's old job and therefore they claim she has not been paying for social security the past 10 years, when she has. Becuase of this she can't file for disability. My father has strong morals about working for everything you earn and is working himself to death instead of filing for bankruptcy. He wants me to save my money as I am just starting college, but this is my last ditch effort to help them in some other way. So please if you are feeling generous I just want my parents to stop worrying and working themselves to death when they should be enjoying what little time they have left together.
